HISTORY
On 1st January 1978 Dieter Kunzmann and Jürgen Hartmann founded the company of K+H in a backroom workshop with just 6 employees.
Located in the beautiful wine growing area of Oberderdingen in Baden-Württemberg as craftsmen in stainless steel solutions they soon became an important partner for the local wine growers and the wine industry in general.
The rapidly expanding company quickly outgrew the limited premises of the workshop and moved in 1980 to their new location ‘An der Hessel 5’. Here with ample room to expand they had the possibility to once again increase their facilities and of course their product range.
To complement their existing and very specialised portfolio and be able to offer complete solutions to their customers they opened in 1991 their plant in Tököl/ Hungary for the production of standard fittings in larger quantities.
With the founding of K+H Armaturen in Dingelstädt/ Thuringia which is responsible for the production of special fittings in medium quantities, the K+H production family was completed.
A natural development of the product line took place when in 2000 K+H required 36.2% of Läufer International AG shares, a specialized engineering office and manufacturer for pigging technology and special through put methods for food industry.
In 2004 with the retirement of Jürgen Hartmann Alfred Schopf became an equal partner and took over the job of managing director of sales and marketing.
Following the retirement of Dieter Kunzmann in 2007 his son Frank Kunzmann took over the helm from his father and became managing director of production.
In September 2010 Alfred Schopf sells his shares to family Kunzmann and Frank Kunzmann becames sole director.
K+H Armaturen GmbH with more then 150 staff members, under the business management of Mr. Frank Kunzmann manufacturing products of high quality steel in high standard in the three manufacturing departments and is a nameable supplier for the beverage-, pharmacy-, cosmetic- and chemical industry.
